The book says Combeferre is carrying a national guard’s musket on the way to the barricade, and while I know that doesn’t mean he was in the national guard I wanted to draw it anyway.

Aw he looks so distressed about it! Like this was T-Minus HANDING IN MY RESIGNATION THANKS.  I love how the uniform fits but obviously isn’t sitting ‘right’ with him.
